Yoga Mountain was established in Autumn 2019 and is based in County Wicklow, Ireland.
Run by Hannah Dunford, a qualified yoga instructor, with a passion to inspire everybody to practice and enjoy the benefits of yoga for body and mind.
Hannah’s classes are a combination of Pranayama (breathwork), Hatha Flow, Mindfulness and Meditation.
This is a great way to try out yoga for the very first time without having to commit to a term or if tend to feel shy/intimidated at a public class. Great for more experienced practitioners too..to get full, undivided attention for your personal level and ability and truly see progression. Private tuition is highly recommended for those with health conditions or injuries. Initial full consultation offered. Sequence tailored to exactly suit your needs, body, ability, lifestyle. I will teach you calming breathwork to practice at home, motivational techniques to get you on your mat, nutritional advice for a happy, healthy gut – I am a qualified Nutrition Specialist – and ways to improve lifestyle choices for a healthier body and mind. We can choose a day and time to suit your schedule and practice in the comfort of your own home. All yoga equipment provided.

In these workshops, I teach a combination of yoga history & philosophy, breathing exercises to combat anxiety, a full sequence of yoga poses including twists, folds, challenging balances, backbends and inversions…and finish with an extended relaxation. With Anxiety and depression so prevalent in our modern world, I believe that yoga is the key to giving teens the tools necessary to cope well in life and into adulthood.
“We all got yoga mats and the instructor Hannah taught us about the different branches on the tree of life, what they represent and what they mean. We began with stretching and eased into some simple poses to stretch out our arms, legs and bodies. She was very patient the whole time. We did twists, turns, flips, bending and stretches. She taught us some breathing exercises to help with calming down, anxiety, etc.., but my favourite part came when we all got fluffy blankets and relaxed. We then got a pretty tree necklace beads, got to pick our tarot cards and she taught me how to do a headstand. 10/10 recommend! Felt great afterwards!”
